Black on Black is Back
I was looking around the news today and see what stories may involve this theme.
Blair Breaks the Black Crime Taboo

Rutgers Team Accepts Imus' Apology
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/04/13/national/main2679537.shtml?source=RSSattr=HOME_2679537
The reality is that we (the whole of society together) have allowed for certain people to become what they have become. They are undisciplined brats. I'm not ONLY referring to the BLACK population. I am referring to ANY and ALL of the people EN MASS that have been coddled: Blacks, Orientals, Russians, Latinos and even the poor white trash. ALL who don't carry their weight but prefer to rest on others laurels. I am SCREAMING --- HOW DARE YOU?
The answer I hear is "Because we can." Granted there are some (some) that are on my dime because of physical illness, because of temporary circumstances. I can understand those. I CAN'T abide with the other. It's NOT fair. There will come a time when it will not be able to support all the people that WANT it. Why should I give 1/3 of my money away and consider myself lucky, because it's not more? I don't want to listen to any more lip service. I have seen where these people live and what they do. I don't think that they deserve ANYTHING. What have they done for ME lately. I am from Russia and I have a job. I support myself. I understand hard times. I was not a slave owner and neither were the Orientals or Latinos, so the Black mantra doesn't work. So many arguments and I'm wasting my breath..................

The Imus Formula
http://www.americanthinker.com/2007/04/the_imus_formula.html
I really don't care for the guy. That's not the issue. The real issue is that freedom of speech is now being endangered AND to boot it's being endangered by the very same left that keeps harping on the fact that we can change the chanel when something objectionable comes on either TV or Radio. To name one would be inconsequential but really there are plenty of examples on the other side that we would try to eliminate: RAP (not all just most) and the violence and sex and vulgarity that one finds on - dare I even mention- DAY TIME TV, let alone cable. The whole issue is a tongue in cheek and talk out of the left side of your mouth issue. I don't like Imus, but I can turn him off, just like they have been telling me to do for decades. If we want to get things cleaned up, then lets. Lets get it all squeaky. The problem that happens when it's forced is the same thing that Islam is facing. It would be SUBMISSION (not freewill) and not the RENDITION that occurs when life is led by the freewill to make decisions with the Almighty in mind. When a whole nation of people are forced and submit they become angry. They start to war against others, because they can't war within themselves. Then they do war internally (revolution) and turn on each other. Just look at AFRICA and you will see the outcome. How is this the same one asks. Freedom is what is at stake, something Islam wants to be rid of. Freedom of speech is a foothold to the rest of the SUBMISSION that it portends as ideal. Another is the ability to defend oneself. They want to take away weapons with which defense is possible on the pretence that the bad guys have guns. This makes no sense either. The bad guys have guns so we should give ours away? I will not SUBMIT, will you?

Fred Thompson Has Cancer
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/04/11/politics/main2670563.shtml?source=RSSattr=HOME_2670563
I really like this guy for a nominee.
I have thought that he didn't have a chance because he doesn't have the noteriety, but the cancer may put him in to the spotlight. The cancer is a bad thing. I would never wish it on anyone. This is something that will give him an oportunity to get his name heard. Cancer is bad, but it's gonna give him the attention that he's been lacking. My prayers go out to him and I wish him well.
Anyone out there with an opinion?
