Elizabeth Smart Says She Was Raped Repeatedly, Calls Alleged Kidnapper 'Evil'

She said Mitchell abducted her in her bedroom at knifepoint in the middle of the night, took her to a mountain camp and performed a ceremony she said was intended to "marry" the two.


"After that, he proceeded to rape me," Smart said.

She said he held her captive with a cable attached to her leg that had a 10-foot reach. She said the line was attached to another cable strung between two trees.

That poor girl. The first few things that come to mind are:



1. Why is this taking so long? The longer this animal remains unpunished and the longer they take to make this OVER for her, the longer she suffers. She can't possibly put this behind her when she is required to relive this horrible time with each prolonged hearing. It's not over for her.


2. I can't help but think this guy is "religious", this is why atheists and some people who believe in g-d still want nothing to do with Religion. Religion is the enemy for these people. They choose to not have any religion at all. The absences of religion is also an establishment of a faith. The faith that no "faith" is better than all the other FAITHS. It is an establishment of a belief that the "faithless" are neutral. Have you ever talked to someone who is an atheist or an agnostic? They will argue 'till they turn blue in the face that they are neutral. They are far from neutral. They are imposing their NON faith as what should be everyone’s belief. Their intolerance is reminiscent of the intolerance of other Religions in the Middle East.


3. The other thing that comes to mind is that in the Middle East. This perversion of marriage is normal. This man is not crazy. This man's "faith" (evil faith) is not unlike the religions in the Middle East that say this is just fine. This type of thing happens in countries that we recognize as our equals. China is in the G20. They have admittance to the UN. They practice population control by kill their babies. There is no freedom of speech. There is no dissent. No room for appeals. Why do we give a podium to these people? I recognize that those countries are entitled to speak and say whatever they like (that’s freedom of speech) but we don't have to provide a podium, which then says to the people in the world that their ideas are somehow VALID and acceptable. By providing a PODIUM we then agree. Crazy people talk, but the real nut jobs Listen.
